Project Overview

KM Assignment Services is an international academic support platform that helps students across Malaysia, UAE, Australia, UK, and New Zealand with professional writing services.
The objective of this project was to create a trustworthy, academic yet modern website design that resonates with students, improves usability, and enhances brand credibility through consistent visual identity.

Design Process

1. Research & Concept Development
Analyzed leading academic websites to identify layout structures, content flow, and student-focused UI patterns. Defined key goals: clarity, simplicity, and easy access to services.

2. Wireframing & UX Flow
Created low-fidelity wireframes in Figma to map out user journeys for homepage, services, and packages pages. Focused on minimizing friction in navigation and improving inquiry flow.

3. Visual Design & Branding
Developed high-fidelity mockups with a clean academic look, using navy blue and white as the primary palette to represent reliability and expertise. Accent tones added to highlight CTAs and guide visual hierarchy.

4. Typography & Layout
Used Poppins for headings and Open Sans for body text to balance readability and professionalism.
Structured consistent spacing, section breaks, and iconography to enhance visual rhythm.

5. Interaction Design
Planned scroll-based section reveals, hover effects for service cards, and testimonial sliders to improve user engagement and make the design more dynamic.

6. Usability Testing
Conducted quick feedback rounds with 5 users representing the target audience. Adjusted element spacing and color contrast to improve accessibility and readability.
